The Cambria - Window Replacement Project

Visiting Alukrom: Your Window Manufacturer for The Cambria’s Window Replacement.

As part of The Cambria’s window replacement project, TeamAB recently visited Alukrom’s leading window manufacturing facility. The visit was a valuable opportunity to see firsthand how high-quality windows are designed, engineered, and tested before making their way into you building.

Why We Visited

Replacing windows in a building like The Cambria is no small task. Beyond aesthetics, windows play a crucial role in energy efficiency, sound insulation, and your comfort.

By visiting the factory, we gained a clear understanding of the production process and quality-control measures that will directly impact our residents’ homes.

As the recladding project at the Cambria Building moves steadily forward, the scaffolding of both Sequence 5 and 7 marks a new milestone in the programme.

Over the next week we will be taking the window measurements in Sequence 4 to move them into manufacturing.

We met with the security company DK9 security to request an additional two security camaras installed on that scaffolded area to the front of The Cambria, these are on motion sensors and are directly linked to DK9 Security, when triggered they will come to site and stop the breach.

We have also increased the site visits so that the security team are visible throughout the night.
